The leadership program for new state college and university presidents and chancellors. 

NPA is tailored to the distinctive needs of new presidents and chancellors who lead state colleges and universities.

Cancellation Policy: 

Cancellations received before June 1 are eligible for a refund, minus a 25% administrative fee.

Cancellation requests received on or after June 1, 2026, are NOT eligible for a refund. If you need to cancel, please email leadershipdevelopment@aascu.org. 

Refunds:

All refunds will be issued 30 days of receipt of the refund request. When submitting a refund request, please email Felicia Durham at durhamf@aascu.org. In the Subject Line, include "26NPA Cancellation," and indicate to whom and where the refund should be issued if paid via check.

Cancellation 
Any guaranteed reservation not canceled 72 hours prior to arrival will be subject to a one-night room and tax cancellation fee. 
Any guaranteed reservation that fails to arrive on the scheduled arrival date will be considered a NO-SHOW, and a charge of one night’s room and tax will be posted on the card on file at the time of booking. 
 
Early Departure 
If a guest checks out before their reserved checkout date, the hotel will add an early departure fee equal to one night's room and tax to their account.  Guests wishing to avoid an early departure fee should advise the hotel of any change to the planned length of stay at or before check-in. 
 
Resort Service Charge 
A nightly $25 Resort Service Charge and tax, (discounted from $45), will apply. 
 
Incidental Hold 
$100 incidental hold per day is authorized at the time of check in.  

Group Rates 

Group rates may be honored three days before group arrival and three days after group departure, based on availability. We encourage you to book your accommodations early. 

Note: Please use the reservation link provided, as we cannot provide or honor the group rate for reservations made outside the block or via third parties (Expedia, Tripadvisor, Kayak, etc.).
